CHECKLIST OF PLANTS, BIRDS AND BUTTERFLIES

The following checklist has been prepared  from field notes taken on hikes in the Park over the last decade. The checklist was field tested in 2001 using the finalized Park boundaries in the Official Community Plan. New species were added in April, 2004. Please let us know if you see a plant, bird or butterfly in the Park that is not on the checklist so that it can be included on this list. A Natural History Committee has been formed and will look at expanding this list over time to better represent the flora and fauna in the Park. To view the list in Microsoft Word format click here.
